Project Title: Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change Project

Project Measures:

The Mongolian-German Financial Cooperation Project “Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change” aims at strengthening the management of the Mongolian protected area system (including buffer zones and ecological corridors) with special reference to climate change, while at the same time improving/stabilizing the livelihoods of local populations. Within this framework, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, the Project Recipient, intends to use part of the project funds for theSupply and Delivery of Basic Equipment and Uniforms to the Protected Area Administrations.

The Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia is now inviting sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply and Delivery of BasicEquipment and Uniforms for the Protected Area Administrations. The ICB will beguided by the latest version of the “Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, Works and associated Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries” (refer to the homepage of the KfW Development Bank www.kfw-entwicklungsbank.de).

the “Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change Project”: www.baccp.mn.Alternatively, they may be obtained free of charge from the Project Implementing Unit of the “Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change Project” at the address of Project Implementation Unit, Tod Tower Building, Room No 703, United Nation’s street 5/2, Ulaanbaatar 15160, Mongolia between 10:00 am and 4.00 pm on working days. The detailed qualification requirements are given in the Bidding Document.

Bidding documents, including a bid security, which shall be equivalent to 2% of the proposed bid price, shall be delivered in a sealed envelope to the address of Project Implementation Unit, Tod Tower Building, Room No 703, United Nation’s street 5/2, Ulaanbaatar 15160, Mongolia before or at 11.00 am (Ulaanbaatar time) on August 26, 2016. Bids will be opened at 11.30 am (Ulaanbaatar time) on August 26, 2016 in room “Khaan” of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia in the presence of those bidders who wish to attend.
