Project Title: “Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change Project”

Project Measures:

The Mongolian-German Financial Cooperation Programme “Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change” aims at strengthening the management of the Mongolian Protected area system (including buffer zones and ecological corridors) with special reference to climate change, while at the same time improving/stabilising the livelihoods of local population. In frame of project goal of strengthening the management of the Mongolian Protected Areas, the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, the recipient of the Project intends to apply part of the grant to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Supply of Office furniture and IT equipment for Buffer Zone Councils of the Protected Areas of Mongolia.

Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the Supply of Office furniture and IT equipment for Buffer Zone Councils of the Protected Areas of Mongolia. The ICB will be guided by the latest version of the “Guidelines for Procurement of Goods, works and associated Services in Financial Co-Operation with Partner countries” and “Procurement manual of Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change Project”. (refer to homepage of KfW Development Bank www.kfw-entwicklungsbank.de).

Bid security equivalent to 2% of the proposed bid price, shall be delivered alongside with bidding document in sealed envelope to the address given before or at 10:00AM (Ulaanbaatar time) of May 8^th of 2017. Bids will be opened at 11:30 AM (Ulaanbaatar time) of May 8^th of 2017 in room Khaan, Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend.

1. Foreign bidders are allowed to bid.
2. Domestic preference is not applicable.
